Privacy Policy
Effective 25 October 2026
Catch Me ("the app") is a fruit-catching game for Android and iOS. The app is free and shows ads. This policy explains what the app does with your information. You can play the whole game without an account.
Playing without an account
The app stores your level stars, best scores, arcade bests, daily streak and settings (sound, haptics, controls) on your device only. This data is not sent to us and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
To move the basket by tilting, the app reads your phone's motion sensor while you play. These readings are used on the device only and are never stored or sent anywhere.
The app has no analytics and no crash reporting.
Optional account (sign in with Google or Apple)
If you choose to sign in, the app collects the following to back up your progress and to show the leaderboard:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address (from Google or Apple; Apple may give us a private relay address if you choose to hide yours) | To identify your account and let you sign in again on a new device. Only you see it, in the app's Shop. |
| Account ID (a random identifier created by our sign-in service) | To link your saved progress to your account. |
| Game progress: stars and best score per level, daily streak, arcade best | To restore your progress on a new or reinstalled device. |
| Leaderboard name and scores. The name is generated for you, like "Player-1234". It is not your real name or email. | To show the leaderboard. |
Your leaderboard name and best scores are visible to other signed-in players. Nothing else is shown to other players. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Where account data is stored
Account data is stored with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which acts as our service provider. Like any online service, Firebase may process technical information needed to run it, such as your IP address. If you never sign in, the app does not store or read your data in Firebase.
Remove ads purchase
You can pay once to remove the banner and full-screen ads. The payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store. We do not receive your card or payment details. The app only asks the store whether you own the purchase, so it can hide the ads and restore your purchase on another device signed in to the same store account.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The app shows a banner ad on its menus and a full-screen ad after every fifth game. You can also choose to watch an optional video ad for a second chance in a level; that ad only plays when you tap to watch it. All ads come from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect from your device:
- your device's advertising identifier (Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS) and other device or app identifiers
- your IP address, which can indicate your approximate location
- how you interact with ads and the app, such as app launches and taps
This data is used for advertising, ad measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. It is collected by Google as an advertising provider and is not sent to us. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- iOS: the app asks whether it may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, ads are not personalized and the IDFA is not used. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ads personalization in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time with Privacy options in the app's Shop.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Data on your device stays until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Deleting your account and data
In the app, open the Shop and choose Delete account. This removes your sign-in, saved progress and leaderboard scores. If you signed in with Apple, the app's access to your Apple account is also revoked. You can also request deletion without the app: see how to delete your account.
Children
Catch Me is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change what the app collects, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
